Hi I’m Adam, full time professional wedding photographer based in Bicester, Oxfordshire which gives me a great base to
photograph beautiful weddings in the Cotswolds, the gorgeous Oxfordshire countryside the best bits of Buckinghamshire
and the rest of the Uk too. I have been privileged enough to cover some destination weddings overseas too.
After many years of my hobby becoming more and more my way of earning a living I took the plunge and started
Adam Abbott Photography, the best decision I have professionally ever made, I seriously have the best job in the world!
Your wedding is important to me and I will strive to tell the story of your special day in photography in a relaxed, easy
informal way so that you can enjoy making memories with your family and friends which I will keep safe forever fo you.
Typically on your wedding day I will arrive at the brides preparation venue and capture all the fun parts of getting ready, the details of your dress, hair,
make up and shoes you can see some examples of the details here I usually suggest we set aside at least 15-25 mins once your hair and make is complete
for us to create your bridal portraits together, this is a great way to keep the memories of all your organisation and decision making safe.
If the groom is also getting ready at the same location I will pop back and forward to get some portraits of the grooms party getting ready, if the groom is
getting ready at another location it may be worth considering a second photographer to capture the details of his preparations.
I will factor in any travel time as required to get to the ceremony and I will arrive a little ahead of the bride to capture some of your excited guests and
family arriving in their finery. I will have visited the venue previously to meet with the conducting official/co-ordinator to assess the best places to
photograph your nuptials. You may want your ceremony as a location for some group shots or confetti shot - we can fit this in to your schedule. Then off
to the reception! I usually suggest that you both get a drink and some canapes whilst I shoot the wedding breakfast room when we arrive, then I will take
some shots of your guests having fun. If you prefer to have your group photos taken here then this is when we will pop them in to the schedule, always a
fun part of the day that I enlist the bridesmaids and ushers to help my find the members of your family I don’t know. Then it’s time for your couple portraits,
in your schedule we will set aside 30 minutes for us to walk around the grounds of your venue, it is one of my favourite parts of the day but I will not
keep you away from your guest as you don’t want to spend all your drinks reception with me! The wedding breakfast is time to relax and enjoy your food,
I usually take my meal break at this point, check the images and back them up to a hard drive, you can’t be to careful! I will be back for the speeches,
a fun part of the day to catch the tears, smiles and laughter of the of your guests, for a bit of extra fun you can use my experience to rate the best mans speech!
Before the evening reception starts I take portraits of all the attending couples and families, great for you to remember everyone that was attended and
and also you can gift everyone an image of them looking amazing at your wedding! The once the cake cutting and your first dance has been captured the
party animals can start to show off their moves, makes for some great images!
From the start of your wedding day

To those informal formals
To the shenanigans of your friends and family
To just making one more shot before the night ends
